Maya Feller is an American registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), author, and media contributor known for promoting evidence-based, culturally inclusive nutrition. She is the founder of Maya Feller Nutrition, a private practice based in Brooklyn, New York. She came to nutrition by way of running–while training for a marathon, she looked into nutrition for runners and realized she could study the science professionally. Today she pairs clinical practice with public education, championing an approach she sums up as "no trends, no shame."

Maya began her career in community nutrition. Worked as an adjunct professor in the nutrition department at NYU. She later opened her private practice, initially focusing on women's health and family nutrition, then expanding it to include non-communicable conditions and taking on dietetic interns. Her practice is rooted in anti-bias, patient-centered, trauma-informed care.
Maya is the author of two books: The Southern Comfort Food Diabetes Cookbook (2019) and Eating from Our Roots (2023). She is a frequent guest on Good Morning America and has been featured in prominent publications including Forbes, EBONY, BBC, Martha Stewart, Today.com, and The Kitchn. She has been a featured speaker at major events, including the Aspen Ideas Festival, where she discussed nutrition inequities and the importance of cultural relevance in nutrition care.
